PJ Rios spent over twelve years in law enforcement as a probation officer, detention guard and a truancy officer before retiring to focus on helping others in a different way through writing. After years of seeing what really happens on multiple sides of the system, she wanted to share the truth about probation and offer real advice to those trying to turn their lives around.
